Hi I'm Sugar. I am a happy, lively puppy now, but I had a very sad start. My sisters, Spice and Cinnamon, and I were lucky enough to be found in a pile of insulation. We had another sibling, but they weren't so lucky. We were cold, skinny, and very, very hungry. We weren't too sure about the new foster home people we ended up with. We had too many bad experiences with people and weren't sure if we could trust them, but they turned out to be pretty nice. Now that we have a safe, warm place to stay, we are all gaining weight and growing. I am starting to show off my singing voice! And I love to let everyone know I'm around. I just know my foster family loves that! My foster mom says it's lucky I'm super cute. I just can't give enough kisses. I am doing well learning to go outside when I need to do my business. I have played in the yard with my sisters but haven't tried a leash yet. I think I am ready for a 'furever' home now. I am still scared of being abandoned again, so it might be best if some is around most of the day. I also would do better in a home with a confident, older dog that could show me the ropes. My mom wasn't around enough to show me. I will be a big dog eventually so if I could have a big yard to run around in. I am really active too, so if I could find an active family that could teach me new tricks, go on long walks, and give me lots of snuggles. Could it be you?
