Alberta Prime Times, in partnership with Cochrane Humane Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Hello, I'm Tabby and I am looking for a new home!
Animal Type: Cat
Age: 6 Years
Tabby is a shy girl who took her time to settle in at the shelter. She wasn’t thrilled with her accommodations, but has since been hired as an ‘office assistant’ and is much happier with her new digs. Tabby has been a quiet and undemanding addition to the office, and spends much of the day snoozing and hanging out in her cat tree – and she sure does love her chin scratches! She has an independent personality, and although she enjoys being close to her people, she doesn’t consider herself to be a lap cat. If she is feeling overwhelmed, she will let you know, and she needs a home that will respect her space when she needs it. Tabby has previously lived with children and a small breed dog, but she would prefer a quiet home where she has plenty of soft beds to try out. If you’re looking for a gal who’s not too demanding, but will keep you company in your office or for a Netflix marathon, then Tabby is for you!
