Arts on the Ave is celebrating the 15th birthday of The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse with Chalk it Up!, this Saturday (July 23) from 11 am - 7 pm on 94th Street and 118 Avenue.  Watch the magic happen as chalk artists create vibrant masterpieces on the sidewalk, and enjoy delicious BBQ, live music, and a youth artisan market. It's a weekend street party, and it's all free to attend!

The Carrot Community Arts Coffeehouse was established by Arts on the Ave, a charitable organization that started in 2005, and is committed to community development through the arts. Opened in 2007, the volunteer-driven, not-for-profit coffee house also served as headquarters of Arts on the Ave. and continues to provide opportunity for singers and other artists in the community through the cafe.
