The outdoor celebration of art, a festival where you can meet artists as they create, is back on Whyte after a two-year break.

The Whyte Avenue Art Walk returns July 8-10, with some 280 artists stretching along six blocks of Whyte Ave, from 107 St. through to 101 St., with tents in the north and south street closures at 105 St., in and around Dr. Wilbert McIntyre Park, including the Strathcona Back Street, as well as the 104 St. bus line from the library to 81st Ave.

The family-friendly, accessible event is open from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Visitors can chat with artists and visit favourite businesses on the avenue too. For more, go to  art-walk.ca, #yegartwalk, @yegartwalk
