Steamed vegetables with herb stir-ins

It takes 15 minutes to make this easy and delicious side dish recipe.


4 cups assorted cut up fresh vegetables (such as broccoli, cauliflower, onion, carrot, zucchini, summer squash, bell pepper and/or green beans)  

2 Tablespoons water

2 Tablespoons butter

1 to 2 tablespoons fresh chopped herbs (such as basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and/or parsley)  

Salt and pepper as desired


Place cut vegetables and water in bowl; cover. Microwave 3-4 minutes or until vegetables are crisply tender. Drain. Add Butter with Canola Oil, herbs, salt and pepper, if desired. Toss until vegetables are evenly coated.
