Ready, set...rain!

Minds turn to all things spring
WHAT CHOO LOOKIN AT? Dill the Goat begrudgingly poses for a photo at the Cardiff Golf and Country Club April 1, 2021, alongside his owner Rebecca Vincent. Dill was one of the few known pet goats in the region. Sturgeon County region. KEVIN MA/St. Albert Gazette

Minds have turned to all things spring. If you're raring to get out into the yard and garden, get all the do-it-yourself info from the Alberta Prime Times garden columnist, and check the past month's piece on starting seeds indoors too. Also, check our latest piece on the new kid on the block in the Edmonton retail greenhouse/garden centre scene. It's not really a new kid though, but a well-established family business, giving new life to the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert.

As a reminder for organ donor awareness month, our piece on one man's journey as an organ recipient is an important read, and if you want to be inspired, learn about Calgary senior Frances Wright who recently received the Order of Canada for her tireless social justice advocacy. To cap it off, don't forget to check out the fun piece on Dill the goat--out enjoying a spring walk like the rest of us.

Put on your puddle jumpers and anticipate the rains....we can hope!

Enjoy the week!
