Brodeur, Ray new to use edited

It is with abundant love and gratitude for a long life well lived, that Ray’s family sadly announces his passing on November 23, 2020, at the age of 91.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Ingrid. He will be greatly missed by his ten children, Carmen (Ralph), Raymond (Karthy), Brigitte (Rick), Marc (Carmen), Rod (Ainsley), Bryan (Lisa), Brad (Shona), Charmaine (Riley), Therese and Lisa (Chris); as well as his thirty one grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers, Gus, Laurent, Rene, Lucien, Gerard, Robert and his sisters, Dorris and Claire.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Paul, Dennis, Mariette and Roger.

Raymond was born on November 10, 1929 in Valmarie, Saskatchewan. He was such a blessing that his parents, Charlie and Floriane, decided to have 11 more! He married Ingrid in 1959, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1960, and then moved to Westlock with his young family to establish his practice in 1961. His family grew there from one to ten children. They then moved to St. Albert in 1979, where he continued to practice chiropractic until 2004. Ray was known for his positive attitude, always being quick with a joke, and his deep Catholic faith. Ray loved to sing and played the piano, clarinet and violin. He would often gather with his musical family to sing and laugh together.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a Private Family Funeral will take place. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
