On Monday, November 7, 2022 Rob passed away with his family at his side.
Rob was blessed with the unconditional love of his wife Patti of 50 years, two daughters Kristi Fewings and Jamie Aker and son in law Kyle Aker. Words alone can't express how amazing of a dad we loved so very much. Rob will always be remembered and loved by his sister-in-law Linda (Ron), brother-in-law Ted (Sheila), nephews Dave (Annalee),Joel (Barbara) and cousin Judy (Bernard).
As a professional engineer he began his career in Edmonton. LRT was his passion and this took him and his family to Portland and Seattle. Rob's infectious laugh and positive personality will be fondly remembered by many of his work mates.
Rob lived his life to the fullest surrounding himself with many cherished close friends who he loved as family. Endless rounds of golf were played. Trips to Phoenix, Palm Springs, Vernon, Kelowna, and Vancouver were a big part of his life. BBQ’s, slow pitch, curling, and camping have created endless memories.
As per Rob's wishes, cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will be held later this month. The next time you are amongst your friends we ask that you share a story and raise a glass of wine to our amazing, much loved Robbie.
