On March 3, 2023 Mr. George Filipchuk of St. Paul passed away suddenly & peacefully at his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Irene; 2 sons, Richard (Linda) & Michael (Dana); daughter, Cindy (Kody Mack); 5 grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler, Keegan, Krista & Kasen; 2 sisters, Mary Coombs & Elsie Coombs; numerous nieces & nephews. George was predeceased by his parents, William & Yvonne; sister, Elizabeth (Henry) Haraba; brothers-in-law, Bernard Berlinguette, Milton Coombs & Dave Coombs. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger officiated, with interment in Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, St. Paul.
