FREDERICK PHOTO

It is with profound sadness that our family announce the passing of Patricia Frederick on April 1, 2021 at the age of 63. Patricia will be sorrowfully missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a kind soul, a pure heart, and brought joy to everyone around her. She loved movies and bowling, and would spend hours in her youth doing crosswords and puzzles. She was a trickster and was mischievous, and it was not uncommon for Nana to find her squirrelling candy away in her dresser drawers. Patricia’s smile and laughter were contagious, and she was a true example of how one person’s happiness could positively impact an entire room. She will forever hold a place in our hearts and will continue to be a reminder that there is beauty in appreciating the simplicities of life: love, laughter, kindness, and sweet treats.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents Brian and Mary Frederick.  She is survived by her brothers and sisters: James (Sue), Nancy (Ray), Janice (Dave), Robert (Marie-Josee), Lori (Warren); her nieces and nephews: James, John (Tara), Lana, Jonathan (Elizabeth), Jennifer, Shannon (Étienne), Krysta-Lyn (Lucas), Terry (April), Jesse, Devin, Grayson, Payton and Jazmyn; and her great nieces: Isla, Jane and Vivianne; and her great-nephew Nathanael.

Patricia’s family would like to thank the remarkable staff at Winnifred Stewart who have provided unwavering support to Patricia throughout the years. The friendships, experiences, and comfort that the Winnifred Stewart family offered Patricia positively impacted her quality of life and gave her so much joy.

A  private family viewing will be held with her interment to follow in Quebec at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s name to the Winnifred Stewart Association.
