April 17, 1936 – May 30, 2022
Gordon was the only child of John and Ellen
MacLachlan. He took his schooling in Watrous,
Saskatchewan and spent many happy summers
swimming in the mineral waters at Lake
Manitou and the chalet pool. He started a career
in Data Processing with Medical Services Inc.
in Saskatoon, then moved to Calgary in 1965,
to work at Pacific Petroleum. Gordon decided
office work wasn’t for him, so he became a
40-year-old apprentice with Canadian Western
Natural Gas. He retired from the gas industry
and moved to a Villa in Turner Valley, where he
spent his time curling and golfing.
Gordon is predeceased by his son Cameron,
left to mourn is his wife Doris, son Douglas and
daughter in laws Karen and Dianne.
