Sophie Adeline Hough
Sophie Adeline Hough age 94, of Westlock, Alberta went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19th, 2020. She was born to the late Henry and Irene Miller October 18th, 1925 in Bessarabia, Romania. She attended Gardner College where she earned a teaching certificate. She met her husband Kenneth Emerson Hough and were married on October 23, 1948. They spent their married life farming in Pibroch, Alberta, and in April of 1970, they were blessed with the adoption of their son Harold Kenneth Hough. She resided at the Smithfield Lodge until her passing.
Sophie is survived by her son Harold (Faye), three grandchildren: Allan (Megan), Alyssa (Devin), Claire, two great-grandchildren, sisters Ann and Darlene, and many nieces and nephews.
Sophie was predeceased by her loving husband Ken, brothers; Al, Bill, and Norm as well as her sister Irene.
Due to the COVID-19 a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
