December 23, 1926 – August 2, 2022

After a brief illness, our remarkable and precious
mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother
joined her beloved husband, Gerard, on Tuesday,
August 2, 2022.
Jeanne is survived by daughters Lorraine
(Duane) McGinnis, Dolores (Richard) Coutts,
Susan Hansen; son Guy (Judy) Frigon;
grandchildren Travis (Tanya), Sean, Calyn
(Steve), Alyssa (Bryce), Joelle and Michael; and
great-grandchildren Trestan, Teigan, Mason,
Aiden, Rowan, Maevyn, and Cru.
Jeanne was our rock and firm anchor in life. We
learned from her courage, creativity, strength,
and wise counsel. She taught us that joy truly
is a choice.
She was our family historian, with a lifelong love
of learning and reading in areas such as: botany,
biology, history, psychology, art, music, and
theatre. She was an amazing spirit and inspiring
role model for her love of family and faith in life.
Always generous, thoughtful, wise, kind, and up
for an adventure. She remained independent
and quick minded with an adorable sense
of humour, all needed skills as the youngest
daughter in a family of ten children.
Born in Picardville, Alberta in 1926, she helped
her family on their homestead farm. She was the
only child of the family to obtain an advanced
education. She highly valued education and
passed that love of learning on to her children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She
never lost her love of gardening and continuously
developed her skills.
Beloved by all who knew her. She is greatly
loved and missed.
