Knud (Ken) Jorgensen
May 29, 1945 to November 17, 2022
It is with great sadness that his family must inform you of Knud’s passing at Athabasca Hospital.
Knud has left behind his soulmate and wife of 51 years, Jackie; his sisters: Anne Kuzyk and Inger Zingeler; nieces and nephews: Alison (Sean), Diana (Ron), Brenda (Murray), Jeff (Marj), Allen (Diane), Jennifer (Dan), and Michael (Joan); in-laws: Cal, Nina, Jean (Rick), and Tom (Donna); and several great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Axel and Helene Jorgensen; and his in-laws, Marcel and Agnes Tettamente.
We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Michael Burger and his whole team at Athabasca Hospital, as well as the Athabasca Fire Department, and Barrhead’s ambulance crew for their heroic efforts on Knud’s behalf. A thank you to Dale Kapitaniuk for his wonderful and compassionate care of Knud at Athabasca Community Chapel.
