KERSLAKE, JOYCE LORRAINE
June 8, 1931 - July 19, 2020
With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Joyce on July 19, 2020, at the age of 89 years. Treasured mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, June (Rod - Indiana); sister, Penny, son-in-law, Stan (Susan), daughter-in-law Doreen and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Bud Kerslake, son Doug Kerslake, daughter Cathy Dezaeyer.
Joyce was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She moved to Edmonton with her husband where she worked and raised a family. In her retirement, Joyce moved to the Barrhead area. She became very active in the local community of Belvedere that included catering, theater, and the sewing club. In 2016 Joyce moved to Shepherds Care Barrhead where she lived out her remaining years. The family would like to thank Dr. Tawfik and all of the caring staff at Shepherds Care for the kindness and friendship she received during her stay there.
There will be no service at this time due to COVID 19. A service will be announced at a later date.
