KLENKE-HALTINER, WANDA
May 10, 1920 - October 12, 2020
Wanda passed away peacefully the evening of October 12, 2020 at the Keir Care Centre in Barrhead, AB. A mother to many and a kind, generous friend to all. Wanda celebrated her 100th birthday this past May, a testament to her strength and endurance. As visiting restrictions eased these last few months, she was able to spend many sunny days with family under the trees in the park. Her spirit shone as she sang her own songs, laughed at the simple things in life and enjoyed the beauty this world has to offer.
Wanda was predeceased by her loving husband, John Haltiner; 2 sons; Oscar and Ken; daughter-in-law, Leanne; 3 sons-in-law; Steve Holsted, Neil Dabels and Clayton Johnson.
Wanda is survived by 4 sons and 3 daughters-in-law; Norman (Jean), Edwin (Christine), Glen (Lana) and Emil; 4 daughters and 1 son-in-law; Linda Holsted, Judy Dabels, Darlene (Dennis) Green and Rita Johnson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
