With extreme sadness, Scott and Casey
announce the passing of our most loving and
caring Wife and Mother, Linda Henley (Nee
Graham). Linda, originally from Brownsburg,
Quebec, was predeceased by Her Mom and
Dad, as well as her siblings, Charlie and Brenda.
Grieving, as well, are Uncle Alvin and Aunt Jean,
who took Linda under their wing during Her
early years. Our sole consolation is that Linda
is in a better place following a lengthy battle
with Alzheimer’s. Sincere thanks go out to the
Staff of The Views at St. Joseph’s in Comox,
BC, where Linda resided in Long Term Care for
well over a year. Their professional caring and
support was truly exemplary and appreciated.

Upon Linda’s retirement as Principal at Percy
Pegler in Okotoks (One of four schools Linda
served with in Foothills School Division), She
and Scott retired to Vancouver Island.

Linda was an accomplished and respected
Educator/Administrator, having been certified in
six provinces, and served with twelve schools
“Coast to Coast”. During Her all too short
retirement, Linda enjoyed various travels with
Scott. Together they visited many countries in
Europe, enjoying the excellent railroad service
there. They travelled several times back
to Nova Scotia, and once to Newfoundland.
Southern Florida were favorite spots to
spend time with Grand Kids Abby and Logan,
along with their parents, Sarah and Casey.
A particular Marina/Resort in the Bahamas
was also enjoyed where, in winter months, it
became a friendly community of Canadians
and Americans. Mazatlan had also become
a favorite, where for a few years, during the
winter, they would meet up with great friends/
students from their way back Quebec/Labrador
days. Unfortunately, Linda’s situation put a stop
to travelling capability.

Cremation has occurred. No local service or
celebration of life is planned, as very close
Friends and remaining Family are dispersed all
across Canada, the US and even Germany.
