It is with profound sadness that the family of Grahame Campbell Mitchell announce his passing on September 14, 2020, age 63 in Kelowna. He was a wonderful and much loved father, son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his children, Cailan & Kyle, mother Catherine, brother Stuart, sister Carole (Gerry), niece Tammy (Dalton), nephew Shane (Nicole), 4 great-nieces, his long-time best friend Racquel, family in Scotland and his many friends in Kelowna and St Albert. Grahame was predeceased by his father Alastair in 2016.
Grahame immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1966 at the age of 9 with his parents, sister and brother. His family settled in St. Albert in 1970 where Grahame grew up. Many years later he found his permanent home in Kelowna. He was very much involved in the music and sports world.
Think how he must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away
Think of him as living
In the hearts of those he touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
For he was loved so much
He will be missed and forever loved and in our hearts.
Due to Covid19 a celebration of Grahame’s life will be announced at a later date.
