Morland, Robert F.
Robert (Bob) Morland passed away on May 15, 2020 at the age of 86 years in Westlock Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Evelyn (2013) and Brothers Tom (2009) and Stan (2016).
He was born in Linaria, AB in September 1933 and was one of 5 brothers who were known for all playing on the same baseball team. In August 1969 he married Evelyn Crick and immediately became a father to 3 children- Brent, Robbie, and Beverly, and in 1970 had a son Robert Jr.
He will be missed by his 2 surviving brothers (Albert and Charlie) - 4 children, Many Grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and his many relatives and friends.
Robert started his life farming but always loved to be challenged. So, he left the Linaria in the early days of lumber mills and had a career that spanned many decades throughout Western Canada. He always loved to build, so he became a carpenter and built many homes with that lumber. In his retirement he would always have a project of some sort to keep him busy, but was happy to put that on hold to visit and to have a good meal. He was a great husband, father, friend, and always a teacher of everything he had mastered over his many years of hard work.
