1957 – 2023
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sheila Morrison on January 3rd 2023. Sheila was born in 1957 to parents Pearl and Milton of the Sundre area where Sheila spent most of her childhood. In 1981 she married Robert Lashmore and began a journey together that lasted 31 years. They remained great friends till the end of her life.
In 2014 Sheila moved to Bowden where she kept herself busy doing the things she loved most. Spending time with friends and family especially her youngest grandchildren Dusty and Hannah. Cuddling with her dogs and going to Bingo every week. For the last several years she dedicated most of her time to baking desserts to take to the local markets.
Sheila was predeceased by both parents, sister Lorraine, brother Cecil and son-in-law Mark.
Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Thrina, sister Sharon, brothers Ernie (Deborah), Stanley (Marcy), Dale, Chris (Mary). Four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many more family members and friends.
A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held at 1pm Saturday February 4th 2023 at the Bowden Friendship Center 2133 - 18th Avenue.
