Ronald Harold Fenton
May 29, 1943 - November 22, 2022
Ron Fenton, partner of Judy Woolsey of Cochrane, passed away in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 79 years.
Ron will be missed and lovingly remembered by his partner, Judy; children, Randy (Joy) Fenton, Dean (Dawn) Fenton, Danny (Jaynel) Fenton all of Cochrane, and Kemp (Michelle) Hart of Calgary; grandchildren, Calsi-Rae (Jeff), Alysha (Eli), Wyatt (Gaby), Kolby (Cody), Paige, Brandon, and Josh; great grandson, Stetson; siblings, Dennis (Shirley) and Linda (Ray); brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Louise as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Mary Fenton, as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ron was born and raised in the Cochrane area and enjoyed farming, cattle, and horseback riding in the Rockies. He was a dedicated Highway Maintenance Foreman for Alberta Transportation for many years. Ron enjoyed wood working and gardening and spending time with family in his retirement. Ron was a dedicated volunteer and Honorary Lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #15 in Cochrane, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #15 (114 – 5th Avenue, Cochrane, AB, T4C 1A5). A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #15 (114 – 5th Avenue, Cochrane, AB).
