January 14, 1955 – June 4, 2021
Shannon Viola Stewart was born January 14, 1955 in High River, Alberta to Chet and Waunita Scott. She passed away June 4, 2021 at the Foothills Country Hospice at the age of 66 years.
Shannon is survived by her loving and devoted husband David; sisters Val Grills, Linda Hanna, Deb Malmberg; brothers Larry Scott and Norman Scott as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Shannon was predeceased by her father Chet in 1967; sister Cheryl in 1980; mother Waunita in 1984; step-father Harry Jones in 1995; half-brother Terry Scott in 2015; brother-in-law Terry Hanna in 2017 and her niece Kristi Laycraft in 2017.
Shannon loved travelling and has been many places in the world, but she also loved her home where she loved cooking, decorating and entertaining family and friends.
A very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Adam Vyse as well as Dr. Janna van Tonder and the nurses, staff, and volunteers at the Foothills Country Hospice for the great care give to Shannon while she was there.
She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
