So Noted Singers is a vibrant new mixed choir rehearsing in St Albert under the direction of longtime local conductor Criselda Mierau. Once you’ve been to one of their shows, you’ll be hooked. Cleopatra is a choir for experienced women singers to raise their voices together in a variety of choral genres.
Criselda Mierau, a luminary in the arts, wears many hats; pianist, singer, actress, and choral conductor. Her illustrious career includes collaborations with renowned artists like Tommy Banks and PJ Perry, and performances with the Edmonton Opera Chorus.
A skilled accompanist, she has lent her talents to workshops and festivals, supporting both emerging and established artists. Criselda’s passion for community music-making has been a hallmark of her 31-year leadership of the St. Albert Singers Guild, during which she guided the group to produce five recordings and embark on tours across Canada and Europe.
