I would just like to thank the folks who ran for the municipal elections everywhere and to all those who voted.
It is incredibly sad, however, that St. Albert posted a 34.8-per-cent turnout in voter participation.
The inability to comprehend the importance of a single vote shows the ignorance and thoughtless self-centred lives of individuals who simply don’t deserve the democratic rights afforded them by dedicated others.
For those who argue it is their democratic right not to vote, shake your head. We live in the best country in the world. Grow up and act like it.
