LETTER: Helicopters that fly at night have good reason

Re: "Helicopter must stop flights over St. Albert in wee hours," Letters, The Gazette, March 23.

Your letter is reminiscent of yelling at a cloud. People who fly these "inherently dangerous" contraptions for hobby rarely do so in the wee hours of 4 a.m. Perhaps you are seeing someone's child be airlifted to the nearest hospital. Or Air One tracking an armed robbery suspect. In which case, I urge you to sit down, lest you require their services one day. Perhaps if it was your wife or loved one was in peril you would care less if it bothers some dogs.

Wishing you health, tolerance, and compassion. Not necessarily in that order.

Lisa Rufiange, St. Albert
