Re: "Trudeau sets dangerous precedent by using Emergencies Act: Cooper," The Gazette, Feb. 23.
I was as disappointed in Jessica Nelson’s report and The Gazette’s headline as I am disappointed in Michael Cooper as our St. Albert MP. Don’t get me wrong — people have the right to protest in Canada. We are all strong and free. But I watched St. Albert’s MP condoning a mob, in front of a swastika and an upside-down Canadian flag. Then, I read his divisive drivel, as published by The Gazette. Cooper is an embarrassment to St. Albert and our great province of Alberta.
What a waste of a federal seat Mr. Cooper has been for us. If Conservatives ever want to get back into federal power, the party will need to do way better.
