I believe both mayors Cathy Heron and Amarjeet Sohi were premature and over-the-top in their comments condemning MP Michael Cooper. Mr. Cooper had no control over who appeared in the background of his interview, and we don't even know if the person displaying the swastika was actually a member of the protest. In any case, the accusation of racism and Nazism toward the convoy at large is patently false. That being said, when Chrystia Freeland appears in a march holding a Nazi-connected banner — crickets.
