Thank you to the Taste of Ukraine for offering the community such a delicious way to support the humanitarian effort in Ukraine through their Perogies in the Parking Lot event. It was a long line and a long wait, but it gave us all a chance to chat and laugh at jokes, tell stories, and reflect on why we were there with friends, family, and strangers. After two-plus hours, when I was finally able to eat those melt-in-your-mouth perogies, my thought was: "Totally worth it!"
