Anti-racism workshop comes to library

The St. Albert Public Library is offering a two-part, anti-racism workshop running Tuesday, Nov. 15 and 29. Maria Drueco, a St. Albert based anti-racism educator and author of The Inclusion Journey, hosts the workshops.

The St. Albert Public Library is offering a two-part, anti-racism workshop running Tuesday, Nov. 15 and 29. Maria Drueco, a St. Albert based anti-racism educator and author of The Inclusion Journey, hosts the workshops. 

“The anti-racism foundational workshop will help members of our community understand and manage racial bias and stereotypes,” Drueco said. “A workshop like this provides people with foundational knowledge on how to act and not act in certain situations."
