Residents will have two more opportunities to have fallen leaves pick-up by the city starting on Monday.
The city's curbside leaf pick-up program, which previously took place between Sept. 25 and Oct. 6, is returning between Oct. 23 and Nov. 3.
According to the city's website, those looking to have leaves pick-up must either put all leaves in a paper bag, in their green organics bin, or in a non-city branded garbage can. Leaves in plastic bags regardless of colour won't be collected, the city's website says.
“Place leaves out at curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your waste collection day, and ensure bags and containers are clear of any debris or snow,” the city says. “Please note that leaves are collected by a different truck, not the Green Organics Cart truck.”
“This service is only offered to those residents who currently receive Green Organics Cart collections from the City of St. Albert.”
