First Responders rodeo this weekend

A group of firefighters, EMS and police personnel founded the Edmonton First Responders Rodeo in 2017 as a fundraising mechanism through a friendly rodeo competition.

The fourth annual Edmonton First Responders Rodeo for charity returns to the Kinsmen Korral on Saturday, July 15. Chute dogging, wild horse racing, bucking broncos and mutton busting – it's all there. 

Rodeo proceeds will be donated in support of The Zebra Child & Youth Advocacy Centre as well as Legacy Place Society. Legacy Place is an organization that assists first responders struggling with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or any form of stress injury or disorder.

Gates open at 11 a.m. Kid’s Corral runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the main rodeo starts at 1 p.m. Buckle presentations take place at 7 p.m. followed by an adult only barn dance at 8 p.m.
