GALLERY: Smoky weekend in the city

The smoke drifted in from wildfires in British Columbia

Wildfire smoke from northeastern British Columbia rolled into Alberta over the weekend, causing poor air quality and reduced visibility.

On Saturday and Sunday the smoke risk was rated as 'very high' with smoke sitting at a 10+ out of 10 on the scale.

Wildfire smoke can be harmful to everyone’s health even at low concentrations, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
