Jonathan Robinson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after an employee at a dry-cleaning store in St. Albert was beaten in May.

St. Albert RCMP received a complaint on May 20 after Robinson attempted to leave the dry-cleaning store without paying his bill for current and past services.

The employee attempted to stop him, and he allegedly assaulted the man, who sustained multiple injuries to his face and head, and required surgery to repair the damage.

Robinson, of no fixed address, was arrested in Devon on June 7. He was charged with aggravated assault and mischief.

He is remanded in custody and will appear in St. Albert Provincial Court on June 23.
