St. Albert RCMP arrested an Edmonton man in St. Albert early Thursday who had allegedly breached his release order by removing his electronic ankle bracelet.
Jade Buro, 28, of Edmonton was arrested by local RCMP at a St. Albert motel at about 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 14, St. Albert RCMP said in a statement released today.
Buro allegedly breached conditions of a court order and was wanted by Edmonton Police Service for removing his electronic ankle bracelet on Aug. 25 while he was on 24-hour house arrest for allegations of human trafficking and failing to comply with a previous release order, the RCMP statement said.
St. Albert RCMP have charged Buro with four counts of failing to comply with the condition of his release order.
Buro was held for a judicial interim release hearing and remanded into custody.
He is set to appear in Edmonton Provincial Court on Oct. 18.
