Robbery at St. Albert Shoppers Drug Mart

They left the store with an undisclosed amount of pharmaceuticals and ran toward Liberton Drive.

A St. Albert Shoppers Drug Mart was the target of a theft last week by three men who made off with some drugs, RCMP say.

The theft occurred Wednesday just after 7 p.m. St. Albert RCMP said three men entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on St. Albert Trail and McKenney Avenue and demanded prescription medication at the pharmacy.

They left the store with an undisclosed amount of pharmaceuticals and ran toward Liberton Drive.

RCMP officers and a police dog arrived on scene but could not track down the suspects.

The men are described as Caucasian, in their 20s, standing around five feet 10 inches tall and dressed in all dark clothing with black masks.
