HALIFAX — Josh Lawrence scored a goal and added two assists and Cameron Whynot chipped in with two assists as the Halifax Mooseheads beat the visiting Moncton Wildcats 6-4 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Sunday.

Alexandre Doucet, Jordan Dumais, Logan Crosby, Reece Peitzsche and Markus Vidicek also scored for the Mooseheads (29-7-4-1), who were outshot 33-26.

Maxim Barbashev, Anthony Hamel, Miles Mueller and Yoan Loshing scored for the Wildcats (21-17-0-2).

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Joshua Roy scored two third-period goals as the visiting Sherbrooke Phœnix defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 4-1.

Israel Mianscum and Cole Huckins also scored for the Phoenix (28-11-2-2), who outshot the hosts 50-21.

Peter Repcik scored for the Islanders (13-24-2-1). Jakob Robillard kicked out 46 of 49 shots in the Islanders' net.
