QMJHL Roundup: Noah Warren stars in overtime as Tigres edge titan 8-7

BATHURST, N.B. — Noah Warren scored 18 seconds into overtime as the Victoriaville Tigres edged the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 8-7 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action. 

Joseph Henneberry scored four times as Victoriaville (26-10-3) won its third straight. Tommy Cormier had a pair of goals and Egor Goriunov added a single.

Gabriel D'Aigle made 17 saves for the win net.

Robert Orr had a hat trick for Acadie-Bathurst (18-19-4), while Matthew McRae, Emile Perron, Alexandre Lallier and Yannik Ponzetto rounded out the attack.

Titan netminder Joshua Fleming kicked out 29 of 37 shots.

The Tigres went 2 for 4 on the power play and Acadie-Bathurst scored once on its two man advantages.

CHICOUTIMI, Que. — Axel Dufresne and Andrei Loshko scored in the shootout as Rouyn-Noranda eked out a win over the Sagueneens.

François-James Buteau, Antonin Verreault, Ty Higgins and Louis-Philippe Fontaine all scored in regulation time as the Huskies (27-8-5) extended their point streak to 10 games.

Jérémy Leroux struck twice for Chicoutimi (17-18-7), while Loïc Usereau and Maxim Massé had the other goals.

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Alexis Gendron scored twice, including the third-period winner, to lead the Voltigeurs past Blainville-Boisbriand.

William Dumont also scored as Drummondville (27-9-5) stretched its point streak to 10 games.

Justin Carbonneau and Tommy Montreuil replied for the Armada (17-19-4).

CHARLOTTETOWN — Alexandre Blais capped off his hat trick late in the third period as Rimouski slipped past the Islanders.

Jacob Mathieu scored twice, and Dominic Pilote added a single for the Oceanic (22-17-3).

Alexis Michaud, Ross Campbell, Cole Huckins, Anthony Flanagan and Simon Hughes supplied the offence for Charlottetown (17-21-3).

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Israël Mianscum scored and added two assists as the Phoenix topped Shawinigan.

Hugo Primeau, Christophe Rondeau, Charles-Antoine Beauregard and Andrew Belchamber rounded out the attack for Sherbrooke (19-17-4).

Jacob Lachance, Vince Élie and Jiri Klima scored for the Cataractes (17-20-3).
