It is with heavy hearts that we make the sad announcement of the passing of our beloved Mom, Mémère, Thérèse Charest on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Thérèse was born on April 13, 1918 in Beaumont, Alberta. She later moved to St. Albert in 1964 where she spent her remaining years. During her lifetime she met and befriended many individuals, whether through work or other pastimes. She would remember them well into her retirement and they her. She was known to warmly greet everyone, with her positivity, sense of humour and her practicality. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, she was particularly close to her daughter, Jeanne and her family. With the past few years that she would live through another pandemic was not lost on her family.
She will forever be cherished and remembered by her children, Jeanne (Richard) Rowland, Germaine Dore and Lucille (Karun) Raizada along with her nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Thérèse was predeceased by her beloved Ernest, sister Adrienne (Raymond) Leblanc, son-in-law Blair Dore and grandson, Marc Dore.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at a later date.
