With incredible sadness, we have to say goodbye to a father, a grandfather, a brother, a nephew, an uncle, a dear friend, and a caring ex-husband. His closest friends considered him a brother or a surrogate father. He opened his heart to many people and so made many friends throughout his life.
Ron loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing board games and card games, wandering around auto wrecker yards looking for parts, driving us around, sharing meals with us, lending anyone in need a helping hand, and sharing his extensive knowledge (and ideas) about anything related to roofing.
He felt very peaceful in the days leading up to his passing. He knew he loved and was loved. He looked forward to what waited for him next saying 'I can be myself'. He was a kind, caring and jovial man who will be remembered fondly by those who loved him.
