It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet on January 23, 2022, at the age of 67 a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
She will be remembered by her husband of 37 years, Bob Kiriakides and stepchildren Candace, Curtis & Stephanie, Chris & Nicole, and all their children; sister Heather & Bob Patterson, brother Barry Andrews and her niece and nephew Tara & Troy; sister-in-law Gaye Benson; and numerous relatives and friends.
Janet’s passion was teaching. She taught in 4 different schools in St. Albert and touched many lives in the process. Janet loved teaching music, especially band. After her retirement she was an active member of the STARTA.
Thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Hospital for the care they provided during her final weeks.
A Celebration of Janet’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
