With heavy hearts the family of Mike Kokoski announce he passed away peacefully, in his St. Albert home on January 29, 2022 at the age of 83 years. His family was at his side as the angels carried him home.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Marie; his daughters Cheryl (Keith) Belyea – Kobe, Ben, and Nikolai; Shelley (Praveen) Gupta – Shaelyn, Cole, and Alexa; Stacey (Ian) Charchuk – Kaiden and Kiara; Cindy (Matt) Muzzin – Maisy and Ryann; along with his sister, Nellie Hendriks and numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful long-time friends.
Besides his greatest love which was time spent with his family, grandkids, and friends, Mike was a passionate fisherman, gardener, hunter and loved to spend hours playing cards with friends. Those who knew him, knew he would do anything for others and could fix just about anything brought his way.
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Connelly-McKinley Chapel at 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert @ 10:00am. A virtual link will be available for those unable to attend in person.
