On February 8, 2022 Norman Douglas “Doug” Krempien of St. Albert passed away at the age of 78 years. 

Left to remember him are his wife, Vivian Constance “Connie”, son, James (Christine);  daughters, Erika (William) and Jennifer (Michael) and grandchildren: Holly, Chloe, Sophie and Sam. 

He was predeceased by his father, Howard Krempien; mother, Ellen Opheim and brother Brian Krempien.

Doug was born in Empress, AB raised in Acadia Valley, AB, and in 1961 moved with his family to Calgary. Here he completed high school and graduated from SAIT in 1969. He was commissioned as an ALS in 1973. Doug worked in Land Surveying for 43 years and for the last 25 years before retiring, he was a partner with Midwest Surveys Inc. He volunteered in the bingo industry for 30 years working on the boards of various bingo associations. Apart from his family, one of his many joys was looking after the fields of the St. Albert Rugby Football Club for 25 years. 

At Doug’s request, no service will be held. “Everything has already been said”.
