Robert is survived by his wife, Kathie Morrison; 2 children; Kevin (Randa) Morrison, Jeff (Elizabeth) Morrison, and 4 grandchildren; Lydia Morrison, Austin Morrison, Mackenzie Morrison, and Samantha Morrison; his sister, Norma Van Dyke and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Laura Morrison, brothers-in-law, and niece.
Jim’s early years were spent at Fallen Timber on the farm. In 1956 his family moved to Morrison family farm between Olds and Didsbury until his parents passing in 1958 and 1960. He then went to live with his aunt and uncle west of Olds (Hainstock) until he graduated from high school. On May 15, 1976, he married the love of his life, Kathie Ebeling. Jim was a jack of all trades but finally settled on being a mechanic/operator for BP Petroleum based in Athabasca. Jim lived life to the fullest, when he lived in Colinton he was active in the community club and the rodeo scene. After he retired he enjoyed keeping busy with carpentry projects.
As per his wishes, there will be no service.
