Patricia ‘Pat’ Anne Wilkinson passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on January 22, 2024 in Abbotsford, BC.
She is survived by her sisters Sheila and Penny, brother Christopher, daughters Carin (Duane) and Kim (Jacques), 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved son Campbell, brother Junior, and ex-husband Patrick.
Pat was born in Hull, England in 1937; and joined her sister Sheila in Canada as a young woman. She was an artist, chef, restaurant owner, and loyal friend. All were welcomed to her table for a hearty meal.
Her love for animals and the countryside drew her to the De Winton area, where she raised her three children. She had a special love for horses and spent many afternoons at the polo grounds. The foothills, fields, birds, and wildlife surrounding the farm were an endless source of inspiration in her art.
A former track athlete, she delighted in cheering on her children and grandchildren in their sporting endeavors. She was a maverick: independent and adventurous. We will miss her dearly.
