Patricia Margot Rae Anderson (Margot
Paul), passed away peacefully in hospital at
Augusta, Georgia on January 16, 2023 at the
age of 60 years. Margot was born February
21, 1962 in Calgary, Alberta. Margot will be
remembered by her husband David Goerzen,
her son Greg Anderson, Sisters Keltie Paul,
Alexis Paul, Mary Munro and Kymme Paul.
Margot was also predeceased by her parents
Roy and Bernice Paul.
Margot moved to the Yukon where she raised
her son until moving to Calgary, Alberta. She
retired after a career with both the Alberta and
Federal Government and with her husband
David, took on the care and training of horses
as a Certified Equine Bodyworker/ANMR
Diamond Level Practitioner and later became
a director and executive on the board of the
Alberta Equestrian Federation.
The youngest daughter of Roy and Bernice,
Margot will be remembered by her sisters for
her mischievous smile and endless energy. As
the wife of David, Margot will be remembered
for her passion and devotion to her family and
those in need of support. As a mother, Margot
will be remembered by her son Greg as a
vision of beauty and light.
