1948 - 2020
Richard Connell Pearce of High River, Alberta passed on Dec 22, 2020 with his family by his side at the age of 72.
Pet as most people knew him by was born to parents Ruth Mary and Walter Storey. Dad grew up on the farm at Gladys Ridge and once he completed school, he went on to work for E.R. Egeland and then for the M.D., then to the Oil Patch where he went from the Mackenzie Delta down the to Gulf of Mexico and everywhere in between.
Dad got married in Reno, Nevada to Denise in 1982. December 17, 1983 J.R. was born in High River. August 30, 1989 Les was born in High River.
Dad was predeceased by his father Walter Story, sister Dolores Ruth, Wife Denise, Mother Ruth Mary and brother Neil Roy. Dad is survived by sons JR and wife Jamie, Les and wife to be Mackenzie, and the only grandchild Hadley.
Dad was amazing father and one of a kind. He will be missed by his 2 sons that will be forever grateful for the sacrifices he made for us. Not only the family, but close friends and neighbors.
I would like to have a memorial once Covid restrictions are lifted. A date will be set at a later time.
