Della “May” Smith
March 31, 1928 - April 28, 2022
With loving remembrance and saddened hearts, the family of May Smith (previously of Fawcett, AB) announces her passing on April 28, 2022, at the Smithfield Lodge in Westlock, AB at the age of 94 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her family: JANET (Arlynn) and their children: Robert (Tiffany) daughters Mila, Sadie May, Ava; and Alyssa May (Adrian). ROSS (Susan) and sons: Curtis, son Nathan; and Eric (Melissa) sons Jaxson, Marcus, Lukas. LINDA (Bryan) and their children: Bart (Danielle) children Jonah (Richelle) and boys Isaac, Peter, Luke; Emma, Isabelle, Moses, Bronwyn; Rilayna (Randy) and their children Josef, Nadya, John, Sonya:and Kyall (Jonathan). LLOYD (Robyn) and daughters Kristen;and Rachel (Hamish) sons Will, Tom. Daughter-in-law Cindy (late GORDON) and children Erin (Kevin) children Hayden, Erica, Steven; Jarrett; Mark (Sarah); and Paul (Saida) daughters Sophia May,Isabella. May will be fondly remembered by her brother Clarence (Marian); sister-in-law Mary and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her only love, Dan, and eldest son, Gordon; parents Della and Robert Gilmar, as well as siblings Ethel (John), George, Arnold (Olga), Alec, Doris, and sister-in-law Dorothy.
Special thanks to all the caring staff at the Smithfield Lodge and Dr.Keay.
There will be a private family Celebration of Life at a future date.
