Roe Roofing: Three Generations of Quality, Value, and Great Customer Service

Giving back to the community is also a multi-generation value the Roes share. “We offer two charity roofs every year to help a family or individual in desperate need of roof replacement,” smiles Jason. “This involves us covering all costs for them in hopes to alleviate some of their financial burden.”

Locally owned and operated for 14 years, Roe Roofing proudly serves Edmonton and area with high quality roofing and siding products and services. Today, the family business is owned and operated by Jason Roe. He learned the trade from his father, who in turn had learned it from Jason’s grandfather.

“Roe Roofing is proud to be one of three preferred contractors in Western Canada for Owens Corning. We’ve been installing Owens Corning for the last three generations of roofing and stand by the outstanding quality,” says Jason. He continues, “We always ensure to keep a business mindset that promotes a positive customer experience at every step of the journey. It is extremely important to us to run the company in a way that makes customers feel special and appreciated, and that they've chosen a reputable company they can turn to for future generations to come.”

Every member at Roe Roofing is focused on customer service.

“We aim to treat every customer as if they are a family member of our own,” Jason confirms.

He admits that there have been some challenges over the years, including the supply chain issues affecting all industries.

“Product availability and continuous rising material costs, while the cost of labour remains the same, can be a challenge,” he says. “With the dip in the economy due to COVID, customers tend to go with the lower priced product, which also equals to lower quality and can be prone to frequently arising issues. A better course of action is to research the company you choose to hire and the products they recommend prior to having any home renovations completed.”

Roe Roofing only installs the best products to ensure long-term viability of the installation or repair.

Jason points out, “We highly recommend Owens Corning as it is a premium product for its price class. We have been installing Owens Corning for the past three generations and have never had a single warranty issue to date. We firmly stand behind the high quality this Owens provides.”

Giving back to the community is also a multi-generation value the Roes share.

“We offer two charity roofs every year to help a family or individual in desperate need of roof replacement,” smiles Jason. “This involves us covering all costs for them in hopes to alleviate some of their financial burden.”

Roe Roofing also donates fuel cards to the Stollery Children’s Hospital every year (the Stollery gives these to families who must travel in and out of town for care). Roe Roofing also donates to the St. Albert Food Bank and other local charities.

As a small local family-run business, Jason has worked very hard for his entire career to be able to get to the point where he can donate back to the community. Getting to this point in his career to be able to donate two free roofs, among other ways of giving back, is a proud mark that Jason considers a true milestone in his career.

“I’d like to say a very big thank you to our staff and team members, who help make every season a success. I also thank the companies we work directly with throughout the year. Thank you, Monarch Siding and Roofing Centre for your immense support, and thank you Owens Corning for your amazing quality of products and support throughout the years,” Jason concludes.

The importance of a quality roof and secure building envelope cannot be understated. To learn more or to connect with a company that values your time and budget while never compromising on quality, visit Roe Roofing in person, online, or on Facebook and Instagram.
