Walter Huber passed away at the age of 89 years after a brief battle with lymphoma.
Walter is survived by Martha, his wife of 65 years, their five children: Jim (Margaret), Calgary AB; Al (Sue), Kelowna BC; Donna (Bob), Summerland BC; Janice, Edmonton AB, and Dwayne (Linda), Cardston AB; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Walter is also survived by his brother Matt, sister Ella and sisters-in-law Vera and Iris.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Grant Campbell for three decades of care he provided prior to his recent retirement and Dr. Russell Sterrett and Dr. Aly Suleman for their assistance in the past few months. A special thank you to the Revera staff at McConachie Gardens for all they have done during this time.
Due to current Covid restrictions, a Funeral Mass for family and close friends was held at Holy Family Parish in St. Albert at 2:00pm on Friday, January 21, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Walter Huber to the Canadian Cancer Society.
