One resident died on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and a second resident died on Wednesday, Oct. 28, wrote AHS spokesperson Sabrina Atwal in an email to the Gazette. This information is not yet reflected on the province's website. AHS did not provide any more information on the two people.

Alberta Health Services told the Gazette Friday afternoon there were 37 positive cases of COVID-19 at the St. Albert Retirement Residence. Alberta Health later said in an email they were notified of 35 cases linked to this outbreak. Thirty-three are active and two are recovered.
